I've always found Pete Seeger's music - those songs focused on the Labor movement, at least - to be hauntingly beautful. The foremost example of this, to me, is his cover of "Which Side Are You On?"

This election has revealed the answer of many Americans to that simple question: they would, disgustingly, pick an uncaring strongman and misplaced anger over their friends and neighbors.

I often wonder what Seeger would have to say, were he still here. His is a voice greatly missed.
