#Georgia voters surpassed the 2.9 million mark for total turnout today — breaking 40% of all active voters, according to the Secretary of State's office. That's about one million more voters than at the same point of early voting in 2020.

Georgia does not have party registration so if they're going by anything it is numbers who voted in the primary, and we split our primary between presidential preference and all the other races back in the spring.
I would not read anything into affiliation numbers in Georgia.
