#Texas has approved Bible-infused lessons in public schools in an initial vote. The curriculum could become a model for other states under the #Trump administration- NYT

Every teacher should ask "How many of these Bible rules has Donald Trump broken?"

@david1
Amazed that non-Christian parents are okay with their children being forced to adhere to requirements of another faith.

This is how factional violence begins...making a state religion & imposing it on nonbelievers.

@Npars01 @david1 the founders intended to create the “wall” between church and state precisely because they were closer to living memory of the religious wars in Europe.

Meanwhile, back in Oklahoma, the State Superintendent of Public Education has made a video to be shown in schools instructing students in prayer for Trump! The rival competition between TX & OK for most ignorant continues.

@mfennvt it’s so disgusting. This is when doing something like supporting a progressive school board candidate or, better, running is so important. Schools are mostly locally funded so as much as they’ll try to push things federally-progressives can make a difference locally!!! @GottaLaff
