Former Fulton special prosecutor Nathan Wade to participate in a closed-door deposition before the House Judiciary Committee on Capitol Hill.

Wade will be joined by two attorneys, including newly hired Roy Barnes, the former governor who also reps DA Willis

2/ Barnes' hiring is no coincidence. When he was only #FaniWillis’ lawyer, he asked to sit in on Wade’s deposition so he could object on her behalf to qs seeking sensitive or confidential info. But Chairman Jim Jordan turned him down

Wade will be questioned about Willis’ use of federal grant funding + his team's meetings with the White House and the Jan 6 committee as part of the election interference probe.

Based on this letter from the DA, we're expecting Wade won't divulge much

3/ Wade's appearance is months in the making. The committee became interested in interviewing him after his romance with Willis became public, though it seems like those qs aren't the focus.
