McGovern: I was the last person off the House floor on #Jan6. I took over for Speaker Pelosi, went into the Speaker’s Lobby, and saw this mad, deranged crowd smashing the glass, trying to get at us. 140 law enforcement officials were injured, and some died from their injuries. Staff were traumatized. If these people had gotten to us, they would have killed us. To call them hostages or political prisoners is grotesque. It shows that Donald #Trump is a sick, demented man.
