Brief still must be filed by Thurs 5 pm ET but some new evidence may need to be redacted under protective order

It remains to be seen how much of brief will be public or how long redactions may take before release.

She again says Trump's claim this would be unfair politically has no bearing on her ruling.

CHUTKAN: "[A]llowing a brief from the Government is not 'contrary to law procedure, and custom,' as Defendant claims, id. (citing no authority); it is simply how litigation works."
