Brad Moss: 1/2

Arguably doesn't even need to amend it. My reading of the SCOTUS decision in the Colorado ballot case is that only Congress could move to bar him from taking office. States are powerless to keep him off the ballot, 22nd amendment or not

MediaMatters:

Trey Gowdy suggests Republicans could amend the Constitution to give #Trump a third term:

“Keep using our justice system as a political weapon and he may, who knows, they may amend the Constitution and let him serve a third term.”

Why is anyone still repeating anything Trey Gowdy says? Honestly he is a powerless talking head at best at this point. Blindly reporting this kind of BS is just another way to incite fear, redirect focus, and retraumatize everyone. Have we learned nothing at all about MAGA operatives over the past 8 years?!?!?!?

If we are going to fight back this type of unthinking repetition of hot takes from untrusted brokers and known liars has got to stop.

@DaPickle Because this is how they think, and we better be aware of it. Many are not.

Hard disagree. This is how they make us afraid and cower to their fascist agenda. Everyone knows how these talking heads think. Everyone knows they lie. Nothing good comes from allowing them to consume all the air in the room.
This way of thinking is how we got here. I ask that you think about that perspective as a choice in the way you process and relay information moving forward, instead of assuming everything said should be repeated.

@DaPickle Wow. So you think I assume everything said should be repeated? Really? Faulty assumption much?

No, I added a second post to that thread.

Please read that and please refrain from nasty, inaccurate assessments of what I post and why. I’ve been one of the cooler heads here.

See ya.

Wow... here's what that account posted after I blocked her. That's what she got from my post sounding an alarm:

"So today I realized that progressive people also believe we must question nothing. Our own way forward is either “on the bus or off” and no room for discussion about anything.
Another day another way to feel horrible and hopeless I guess."

I may have to write a new pinned post. I KNEW she'd go there.
