As commentators start expressing fears about the UK entering a period of stagflation caused by the US/Israeli attacks on Iran & Iran's response, it feels necessary to point it out that for all intents & purposes the UK has been in a period of stagflation for some years.... certainly the situation in the Middle east may make things worse but only by degree; this is not a new threat to the UK's economy, it is compounding an already exist problem!
