Nearly 30 tons of dead fish were collected in Chernihiv region from the Seym and Desna rivers.

Earlier it was reported that the rivers were polluted as a result of sugar molasses discharges from a plant in Russia's Kursk region. According to environmentalists, the amount of damage to the environment is currently over UAH 338 million ($8 160 000).
