They went a step further though and four days after the abduction released a statement, contradicted by witnesses and video, that "the individual being detained punched an agent in the face."
The person who wrote this statement for Robbinsdale PD, setting up #ICE's retaliatory charges, is almost certainly John Elder, former #Minneapolis PD spokesperson who lied about Derek Chauvin's murder of #GeorgeFloyd
