BREAKING: In a 4-3 decision, the #Pennsylvania Supreme Court grants a request from the RNC and affirms that counties should not count mail-in ballots where voters wrote the wrong date, or left off the date, on the outer return envelope. democracydocket.com/news-alert…

I’m mostly okay with this because my assumption is that it’s Trump voters who can’t follow directions.

This isn't about Trump. They're still fighting over this because of the mandatory recount for the Senate race between Casey and McCormick.
The #pennsylvania supreme court has flip flopped on this issue several times in this election cycle. The whole thing is ridiculous. I ended up voting in person because there was so much uncertainty around which mail ballots would be counted. In person voting seemed to be the only way to make sure your vote was counted.

The worst part is that the date on the ballot is irrelevant. The only thing that matters is when the ballot is received. If it arrives late, the date on the envelope doesn't matter and the ballot will be rejected. That's why the requirement for dating the ballot should be removed.

The Bradley Foundation spent millions inventing these disenfranchisement schemes.

Georgia's "exact match" naming requirements that excludes names with spaces, hyphens, or special characters.

Wisconsin's spurious dating requirements.

There's hundreds of examples that the GOP has invented just for this purpose.
