A purportedly new old stock Freescale branded MC68HC000FN20 -- A 20MHz 68k. I wonder if this is genuine? It came in a plastic packaging. Also: is this a mask revision that can be overclocked? Would be nice for the ACA500+ -- Wish it had a PLCC socket!

I've also been wondering about replacing that -10 with faster rated 68k. Please shout it loudly if you manage to so this :)

@48kRAM and: it heavily depends on the mask revision of the chip. Even 10 MHz part can then be overlocked to 40 MHz.

yeah Desoldering plcc is def not my favorite activity but removal alloy makes it much less of a chore
