That said, as a Brown woman and academic, you can just believe us when we say that we experience systemic bias. It’s casualness is truly awe-inspiring.

So many examples within #openscience of presenting my ideas, getting a pat on the head and then ghosted, while when my male colleagues present my ideas as part of their work (cited), they get followed up on for those same ideas.
