My late senior-executive US #Customs dad in DC opined long ago, that it was a mistake to cleave US Customs #investigations away and glom it with Immigration Enforcement from the old INS - all this done in the wake of 9/11. DHS is a monstrosity - sucking up staggering amounts of #Federal funding. Corrupt as Hell.
