FBI: Iranian Cyber Actors Targeting Personal Accounts to Support Operations (PDF)
FBI, CNMF, Treasury, and NCSC-UK have a joint cybersecurity advisory to highlight Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) malicious cyber activity targeting individuals related to Iranian and Middle Eastern affairs. FBI also observed these actors targeting persons associated with U.S. political campaign activity, likely in support of information operations. The joint cybersecurity advisory provides observed tactics, techniques, and indicators of compromise that the authoring agencies assess are likely associated with cyber actors working on behalf of the IRGC.
