I will not make excuses for the white
women choosing patriarchy over their
own lives.

I will not laugh at their jokes or attend
their brunches.

I will not let them call me friend.

I will not overlook their betrayal or make
nice for the sake of the family.

I will not worry if they like me or love me
or if I'm too judgmental.

I will not make it more comfortable for
them. I will never forget. I will rise from
my own ashes and howl like a banshee
until their ears bleed.
