Time for another poll, inspired by the previous kernel poll!

What distribution(s) do you run?

I'd also love to hear for how long has your current install been running for (guestimates are fine).

I've managed Gentoo installations that were 10+ years old. The Gentoo community has always provided detailed guides and tools to make it easy to move your installation to new major components without having to reinstall (e.g. SysV -> systemd, ALSA -> PulseAudio -> Pipewire). Another reason for the longevity of Gentoo installations is that given intact /etc and /var/lib/portage folders you can always rebuild everything from scratch and get back to a working system.

@gabrielesvelto Yeah, that's interesting, because I think that's why I have now stuck with Arch. I used to distrohop like 10~ years ago constantly (every few months?), because I didn't just feel like using any one thing at a time. But then I've slowly kind of churned my way into the Arch community, mainly because of the wiki haha.
But I could see myself using Gentoo for the same reason...
