Today's demo for Gaza outside Assen railway station.
A lot of people joined in today, waving, thumbs up, making heart signs, taking information leaflets or their own photos of posters, even borrowing pots from us so they could join ib.
It is clear that the majority of people are opposed to Israel's genocidal behaviour, but our politicians don't seem to have received the message loudly enough. Hopefully our pot banging helped to get the message through.

Photos from last Thursday and this evening of the weekly protest for Gaza at Assen railway station. Last week we were pot banging, as we do most weeks. This week we listened in silence as names of Palestinians killed by the Israelis were read out.
Each name is read out with the age of the deceased. In one hour we had time only for a small fraction of the dead. There's time to remember only a few hundred out of the tens of thousands who have been killed.
Clearly many people were touched by the message, especially when they heard the names of young children. Many people took leaflets. Hopefully many of them will at the very least be prepared to join the boycott of Israeli goods.
Who wouldn't be affected by the murder of infants ?

(There was apparently an attempt to cancel tonight's protest, because of the weather warning, but those of us who don't use fascist owned social media didn't receive the notification)

Today's quiet demo for Gaza in Groningen. These demos take place from 13:00 until 14:00, every other Saturday in Groningen, on the odd numbered weeks (oneven weken). We stand quietly with signs while others hand out leaflets with information about the boycott against Israel.
