Gonna teach you a fun little lesson in OSINT.

Before applying to a job or contracting with a company, or giving them your information, go to the company website.

Take a look at the footer. Click through their links. Double check the address they list, the phone number. Very often if it's a scraped site, scam or operation, they forget that the devil is in the details.

You can map the address and use Google Maps or equivalent to check satellite footage of their address.

Reverse phone lookups on their phone number are useful. Are they using a proxy, VOIP or number associated with another company? There are so many threads you can pull here.

Other things to do:
- Reverse image search the bio photos
- Run some of the website copy through an AI scanner
- Check for LinkedIn profiles connected to the companies
- Go through the bios of listed employees

Today I found a network of websites, all linked together through photos, biographies, and one profile on LinkedIn.

Not to mention if you're going to list as having worked at a USG agency, you're going to have to make a better fake biography.

If you're interested in the website, lmk in a DM.

P.S. I'd love a kofi to fund the rest of the probono work for this month. 🥺
