Fascist russia, russia's ally Iran and russia's agent of influence Elon Musk get together to pose a deadly threat to the world's democracies.

Some very alarming developments regarding Russia's use of #Shahed drones: Shahed equipped with #Starlink from SpaceX has been shot down over Ukraine for the first time. @potus

Frankly, it’s depressing how one billionaire can fuck up the night sky for the rest of humanity and our collective ability to try to understand more about the universe.

The new generation of Starlink satellites create even more interference than the old ones.

Please read at least one of these sources about how Elon Musk's new V2 #Starlink is destroying radio astronomy.

Folks, this isn't funny. It's tragic. We are blinding ourselves to the heavens.

“...very soon the only constellations we will see will be human-made,”

"Humanity is clearly approaching an inflexion point where we need to take action to preserve our sky as a window to explore the Universe from Earth."

Oh look, Starlink is continuing to screw up the sky in every way possible.

"Second-Generation Starlink Satellites Leak 30 Times More Radio Interference, Threatening Astronomical Observations"

It's going to be "hilarious" when Starlink messes up the radio sky so badly that radio astronomers can't even use quasars to calibrate GPS anymore. There are so many consequences from all these stupid, cheaply built, disposable satellites. https://www.universetoday.com/105160/navigating-the-cosmos-by-quasar/

Good grief. Starlink v2 satellites are generating 32 times more radio emission than previous generations! This is totally blinding to radio telescopes and will stop us doing science in this part of the spectrum.

If you missed it: #Canada 🇨🇦 has declined to make #Starlink our national satellite provider and has decided to go with a home-grown #Québec company 🙏
