@anderspuck makes some valid points here. The leverage that the #US has over #Ukraine is much smaller than most people realise. Since #Trump came to power, there has been no weapons donation programme; Trump and his lackeys are selling the material for profit, of course, while the Europeans foot the bill.
From a military perspective, however, this “peace treaty” makes no sense. Russia is losing the war in the long term and is not in a position of power in this matter. Personally, I don't subscribe to the conspiracy theory that there are Russian operatives in the Trump administration — or even that Trump is one — but who knows?
