Feeling pretty depressed about today's Supreme Court decision granting Trump partial immunity. And feeling scared for what's to come. This is really bad, no other way to put it.

It is clear to me, and many others, that the conservatives on the #SupremeCourt are deeply engaged in #SeditiousConspiracy, with the #FederalistSociety & its #Project2025 for starters, and #DOJ must investigate and charge them with that, as it is so obviously sedition. #Biden must order this be done. #Politics

Have these billionaires not read history?

This level of exploitation, oppression, and the shameless celebration of aristocracy among #SupremeCourt #justices can and will eventually fuel social unrest of the kind that led to the violent #FrenchRevolution.

#CRINK partnership will be elated if that happens, but US billionaires?

Just remember, the Supreme Court could have been expanded.

Historically, it has changed size before. The constitution does not specify a size.

Sam Levin: ‘Terrifying and dystopian’: the dark realities of the supreme court’s #homelessness decision: Sara Rankin, a law professor cited in Sotomayor’s dissent in the Oregon case, warns more cities will seek to banish the unhoused

"The US supreme court ruled Friday that cities can fine and jail unhoused people for sleeping outside, arguing that criminalizing camping when there is no shelter available does not constitute “cruel and unusual punishment”.

The 6-3 ruling is the most consequential legal decision on homelessness in decades in the US.

The case was brought by Grants Pass, Oregon. The city has local laws that authorize law enforcement to ticket and prosecute unhoused people. But the city had been barred by several courts from enforcing its ordinances because of a landmark 2018 ruling by the ninth circuit court of appeals."

Oh look another decision limiting the reach of bribery laws.

At least it is authored by one of the Justices not accused of being bribed by billionaires.
